Research Study Announced Parents of children with CHARGE syndrome may be eligible for a new research study on behavior analysis. The study aims to assist parents with children whose troublesome behavior has not responded adequately to interventions such as behavior analytic treatment, communication training or curriculum adaptations. This research is designed to assist you as a parent to discuss your child's behavior with a psychiatrist. If you are a parent who has not yet participated in an appointment with a psychiatrist but who is considering it and may do so in the next three months, you may be eligible for this study. Laurie Denno is a doctoral candidate at Simmons College. Laurie has provided behavior analytic treatment to children with CHARGE syndrome for 20 years - these children are her passion as well as challenge. This work will be completed long distance via telephone interviews with the researcher and through completion of a self-directed teaching program at home.If you are interested in participating, please contact Laurie Denno directly.
