NEW OFFICIAL NAME

We have great news!

As you may know, our national office has officially changed their name to Canadian Deafblind Association. A name change has also been in the works for us for some time -- that is until now. The Ministry of Government Services has given us official confirmation of our name change to Canadian Deafblind Association Ontario Chapter.

With this will come some changes including new stationary, new website and domain name, new e-mail addresses and a few other things. These have not yet been finalized as we have only recently received confirmation of the change, but will be taking place within the next few months. As these changes occur we will be sure to inform all of our staff, members, partners and others involved with the Association.

We would also like to mention that rubella is still a major part of our organization, and this name change does not make any changes for our consumers or to our services. This was a decision made to stay harmonized with our national office and to have a name that was more inclusive to deafblindness.
